What Are the Judging Criteria?

The Judges will be looking for evidence of clear and effective ways in which you share your successes and your story. Your objectives must be set out so that they are easy to digest. You should use examples wherever possible. The Judges will also consider the structure, presentation, and clarity of each entry.

Judges will read all nomination forms, considering any supporting materials submitted. All Judge’s evaluations will then be combined, and the highest-scoring entries will determine the shortlists.

Judges will meet to discuss the highest-scoring entries and then agree on the winner for each category. This may also involve meeting shortlisted entrants, and you will be notified if this is the case, to arrange a suitable interview time and date.

Only the Judges assigned to your category, and the Legal Leaders Award team will see your entry(ies). Judges must sign confidentiality agreements prior to receiving your entry(ies).

Shortlists are decided on October 30, 2024. From 30 October 2024, you’ll be able to see if you have been shortlisted. You just need to check our website!

What Happens After You Are Shortlisted?

If you are shortlisted, our team will get in touch with you via phone or email. We’ll send you details about how you will participate in the award ceremony and how many people you will participate with. The winners won’t be notified before the Awards Ceremony. This means that the news cannot be shared externally until we announce it onstage. The winners or the team behind the company or law firm will be called to receive the Award on stage. You must inform us of the name and surname of the person who will receive your award at least 10 days in advance! If you can't find anyone to claim your prize, please let us know.
